Since it’s Father’s Day, here are my top favorite Zuko and Iroh moments:

• “Even in exile, my nephew is more honorable than you.”
  
• “Did you really mean that uncle?” “Of course, I told you Ginseng tea was my favorite.”
  
• This shot in which words cannot do justice: x
  
• Zuko choosing to go after his uncle instead of his honor the Avatar.
  
• “Excellent form, Prince Zuko.” “You taught me well.”
  
• “Now, will you please put on some clothes?”
  
• Iroh just completely messing with him during the pirate episode.
  
• “THE LOTUS TILE WAS IN MY SLEEVE THE WHOLE TIME!” *That smile mixed with Zuko’s anger*
  
• THE ENTIRE STORM EPISODE JUST YES
  
• That moment when you realize that Iroh didn’t need to go with Zuko. That Iroh could have stayed as a royal member of the Fire Nation. That Iroh chose to give up everything to accompany Zuko in exile.
  
• Iroh refusing to join Zhao.
  
• We don’t talk about the face/voice when he sees the ship explode.
  
• “Ever since I lost my son, I think of you as my own.”
  
• “I see; it’s the anniversary, isn’t it?”
  
• Zuko sending Iroh away and him coming back in order to save him from Azula.
  
• When they cut off their hair.
  
• “Remember that plant I thought might be tea?” “You didn’t.” “I did and it wasn’t.”
  
• When they were giving each other horrible names in the abbey.
  
• When the man makes Iroh sing and Zuko becomes angrier and angrier before totally attacking the man later that night.
  
• We don’t talk about them splitting up.
  
• But with that being said, the notion that Iroh followed Zuko across an entire continent for weeks because even though Zuko didn’t want him, he still needed him.
  
• We don’t talk about Zuko’s face when Iroh gets shot with lightning.
  
• “Come on, you’ve got to feel the flow.”
  
• “What are you, crazy? Lightning is very dangerous.”
  
• “Yeah, but I’m not going to shoot lightning at you!” And that moment when you realize that Iroh is not going to be the adult who shoots a dangerous weapon at this kid (unlike his brother).
  
• Just Zuko and Iroh living together in Ba Sing Se and working hard in a tea shop before eventually owning their own tea shop together I love it so much.
  
• Iroh totally setting Zuko up on dates

• Iroh doing Zuko’s hair.
  
• The speech under Lake Laogai.
  
• Iroh sitting at Zuko’s side and nursing him back to health.
